Almond, Banana, Avocado Smoothie with Honey

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ripe banana
  • ½ ripe avocado
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • ¼ cup raw almonds or 2 tablespoons almond butter
  • Ice cubes optional

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the ingredients: Peel the banana and cut it into chunks. Scoop out the flesh of the ripe avocado and gather the remaining ingredients.
  • Blend the smoothie: In a blender, combine the banana, avocado, almond milk, honey, and raw almonds (or almond butter). Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy. If you prefer a thicker texture, add a few ice cubes and blend again.
  • Adjust the consistency: If the smoothie is too thick, add more almond milk, a little at a time, until you reach your desired consistency.
  • Serve and enjoy: Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately. Garnish with a sprinkle of crushed almonds or a drizzle of extra honey, if desired.

Notes

  • If you’re using almond butter instead of raw almonds, reduce the amount of honey slightly, as almond butter can add a touch of sweetness.
  • For a protein boost, add a scoop of your favorite protein powder or a spoonful of Greek yogurt.
  • You can freeze the banana slices beforehand for an extra thick, frosty texture.
