Instructions
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
Prepare the Filling:
In a medium bowl, mix the shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Fill the Crescent Rolls:
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
Roll up the dough, starting from the wide end and tucking in the sides slightly to seal the filling.
Arrange on Baking Sheet:
Place the stuffed rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
Add Toppings (Optional):
Brush the tops of each roll with melted butter.
If desired, sprinkle with breadcrumbs for added crunch.
Bake the Rolls:
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
Garnish and Serve:
Garnish with chopped parsley for a pop of color.
Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Flavor Variations:
Add cooked spinach, mushrooms, or diced jalapeños for extra flavor and texture.
Cheese Options:
Swap cheddar for mozzarella, Swiss, or pepper jack for a different taste.
Spicy Kick:
Mix a dash of cayenne pepper or hot sauce into the filling for a spicy twist.
Homemade Dough:
If you prefer homemade dough, use puff pastry or biscuit dough as an alternative.
Crunchier Texture:
Sprinkle sesame seeds or crushed crackers on top before baking for added crunch.
