½
cup
pastel sprinkles

Instructions
Step 1: Melt the Butter & Marshmallows
In a large pot, melt the butter over low heat.
Add the mini marshmallows, stirring continuously until they are fully melted and smooth.
Remove from heat.
Step 2: Mix in the Cereal & Sprinkles
Stir in the Rice Krispies cereal until evenly coated with the melted marshmallow mixture.
Gently fold in pastel sprinkles, being careful not to overmix so the colors don’t bleed.
Step 3: Shape into Easter Eggs
Lightly coat your hands with non-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking.
Scoop about ¼ cup of the mixture and shape it into an egg shape with your hands.
Place the shaped eggs onto a parchment-lined baking tray.
Step 4: Decorate & Set
Press extra pastel sprinkles onto each egg while still slightly warm.
Let the treats cool and set for 15-20 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use Plastic Easter Egg Molds
– Press the mixture into lightly greased plastic eggs for perfectly shaped treats.
Add Food Coloring
– Stir in a few drops of pastel food coloring to the melted marshmallow mixture before adding cereal for colored eggs.
Make Chocolate-Dipped Eggs
– Dip the bottom half of each egg in melted white or milk chocolate for a sweet finishing touch.
Use Different Cereal
– Try Fruity Pebbles, Cocoa Krispies, or Cheerios for unique variations.
Don’t Overmix the Sprinkles
– Fold them in gently to keep their bright colors from running.
