Ingredients

For the Oreo Crust:

  • 36 Oreo cookies crushed
  • 6 tablespoons melted butter

For the Cream Cheese Layer:

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups whipped topping Cool Whip

For the Mint Pudding Layer:

  • 1 3.4-ounce package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • ½ teaspoon mint extract
  • Green food coloring a few drops, as needed

For Topping:

  • 1 cup whipped topping Cool Whip
  • Chocolate chips for garnish
  • Green sprinkles for garnish

Instructions

Step 1: Make the Oreo Crust

  • Crush 36 Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a zip-top bag and crushing them with a rolling pin.
  • In a bowl, mix the crushed Oreos with melted butter until the mixture resembles wet sand.
  • Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x13-inch dish to form the crust.
  • Refrigerate the crust while preparing the next layers.

Step 2: Prepare the Cream Cheese Layer

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth and creamy.
  • Gently fold in 2 cups of whipped topping until fully combined.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chilled Oreo crust.

Step 3: Make the Mint Pudding Layer

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix, milk, mint extract, and a few drops of green food coloring until thick and smooth.
  • Spread the pudding mixture evenly over the cream cheese layer.

Step 4: Add the Final Layer

  • Spread 1 cup of whipped topping over the pudding layer, smoothing it out evenly with a spatula.
  • Sprinkle with chocolate chips and green sprinkles for a festive touch.

Step 5: Chill and Serve

  • Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight for best results).
  • Slice into squares and serve chilled.

Notes

  1. For a Stronger Mint Flavor: Increase the mint extract to ¾ teaspoon.
  2. Make it Even More Chocolatey: Use mint-flavored Oreos instead of regular Oreos for the crust.
  3. Use Different Pudding Flavors: Try using white chocolate pudding instead of vanilla for a richer taste.
  4. Add Extra Layers: Add a layer of crushed Andes mints or chocolate ganache between the pudding and whipped topping for a more decadent dessert.
  5. No Cool Whip? You can substitute homemade whipped cream by whipping 2 cups of heavy cream with 2 tablespoons powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
