Instructions
Step 1: Make the Oreo Crust
Crush 36 Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a zip-top bag and crushing them with a rolling pin.
In a bowl, mix the crushed Oreos with melted butter until the mixture resembles wet sand.
Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x13-inch dish to form the crust.
Refrigerate the crust while preparing the next layers.
Step 2: Prepare the Cream Cheese Layer
In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth and creamy.
Gently fold in 2 cups of whipped topping until fully combined.
Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chilled Oreo crust.
Step 3: Make the Mint Pudding Layer
In a separate bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix, milk, mint extract, and a few drops of green food coloring until thick and smooth.
Spread the pudding mixture evenly over the cream cheese layer.
Step 4: Add the Final Layer
Spread 1 cup of whipped topping over the pudding layer, smoothing it out evenly with a spatula.
Sprinkle with chocolate chips and green sprinkles for a festive touch.
Step 5: Chill and Serve
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight for best results).
Slice into squares and serve chilled.
Notes
For a Stronger Mint Flavor:
Increase the mint extract to ¾ teaspoon.
Make it Even More Chocolatey:
Use mint-flavored Oreos instead of regular Oreos for the crust.
Use Different Pudding Flavors:
Try using white chocolate pudding instead of vanilla for a richer taste.
Add Extra Layers:
Add a layer of crushed Andes mints or chocolate ganache between the pudding and whipped topping for a more decadent dessert.
No Cool Whip?
You can substitute homemade whipped cream by whipping 2 cups of heavy cream with 2 tablespoons powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
