Ingredients

For the Pudding Layer:

  • 1 3.4 oz box instant banana pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 8 oz container whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
  • 4 bananas sliced
  • 1 11 oz box vanilla wafers

For the Strawberry Crunch Topping:

  • 1 cup Golden Oreos crushed
  • ½ cup freeze-dried strawberries crushed
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter melted

Instructions

Step 1: Make the Banana Pudding Layer

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the instant banana pudding mix and cold milk until thickened, about 2 minutes. Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until well combined.

Step 2: Layer the Banana Pudding

  • In a 9x13-inch dish, layer the vanilla wafers evenly on the bottom. Add a layer of banana slices on top of the wafers, then spread half of the pudding mixture over the bananas. Repeat with another layer of vanilla wafers, bananas, and the remaining pudding mixture.

Step 3: Prepare the Strawberry Crunch Topping

  • In a small bowl, combine the crushed Golden Oreos, crushed freeze-dried strawberries, and melted butter. Stir until the crumbs are evenly coated and create a crunchy mixture.

Step 4: Top and Chill

  • Sprinkle the strawberry crunch topping evenly over the top of the banana pudding layer. Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the pudding is set.

Step 5: Serve

  • Serve your Strawberry Crunch Banana Pudding chilled, and enjoy each layer of creamy, fruity, and crunchy goodness!

Notes

  • Crunch Topping Variation: Feel free to add a handful of chopped fresh strawberries for an added burst of freshness.
  • Banana Substitute: If bananas aren’t preferred, try using strawberries or another berry for a different fruit flavor.
  • Golden Oreo Substitute: Regular Oreos can be used for a chocolate twist if preferred.
