Ingredients

  • 3 cups crispy rice cereal such as Rice Chex or Crispix
  • 3 cups pretzels mini twists or sticks
  • 1 ½ cups roasted peanuts or mixed nuts
  • 1 ½ cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup holiday M&M's red and green for Christmas, pastel for Easter, etc.
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips or white almond bark

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Mix

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the crispy rice cereal, pretzels, roasted peanuts, mini marshmallows, and holiday M&M’s. Gently toss to evenly mix.

Step 2: Melt the White Chocolate

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips or white almond bark in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth and fully melted.

Step 3: Coat the Mix

  • Pour the melted white chocolate over the cereal and nut mixture. Use a spatula to gently fold the mixture until everything is evenly coated in white chocolate.

Step 4: Spread and Set

  • Spread the coated mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spreading it into an even layer. Allow it to set at room temperature for about 15-20 minutes, or until the chocolate has hardened.

Step 5: Break and Serve

  • Once set, break the mixture into clusters or bite-sized pieces. Transfer to a serving bowl or store in an airtight container.

Notes

  • Customize with Colors: Use themed M&M colors for different holidays (red and green for Christmas, pastel for Easter, etc.).
  • Mix-Ins: Add extras like shredded coconut, raisins, or crushed peppermint for extra flavor.
  • Melted Chocolate Consistency: Add a teaspoon of vegetable oil to the chocolate if it’s too thick, making it easier to coat the mix.
